Jeremiah 10:1-16
Hear the word which the Lord speaks to you, O house of Israel. Thus says the Lord: Do not learn the ways of the Gentiles; Do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, For the Gentiles are dismayed at them. For the customs of the peoples are futile; For one cuts a tree from the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with an ax. They decorate it with silver and gold; They fasten it with nails and hammers so that it will not topple. They are upright, like a palm tree, and they cannot speak; They must be carried because they cannot go by themselves. Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, nor can they do any good. Inasmuch as there is none like You, O Lord (You are great, and Your name is great in might). Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? For this is Your rightful due. For among all the wise men of the nations, and all their kingdoms, there is none like You. But they are altogether dull-hearted and foolish; A wooden idol is a worthless doctrine. Silver is beaten into plates; It is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the craftsman and of the hands of the metalsmith; Blue and purple are their clothing; They are all the work of skillful men. But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, and the nations will not be able to endure His indignation. Thus you shall say to them; The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens. He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens at His discretion. When He utters His voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens: And He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lightening for the rain, He brings the wind from His treasuries. Everyone is dull-hearted, without knowledge; Every metalsmith is put to shame by an image; For his molded image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. They are futile, a work of errors; In the time of their punishment they shall perish. The Portion of Jacob is not like them, for He is the Maker of all things, and Israel is the tribe of His inheritance; The Lord of Hosts is His name.
-He who has ears to hear let him hear and discern! He who eyes to see let him see and understand! Repent from these wicked idols, walk away from idolatry and turn back to Jehovah Sabaoth, The Lord of Hosts, for The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord is at hand!
Ezekiel 1:4-28
Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of the midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. Also from within it came the likeness of four living creatures. and this was their appearance: they had the had the likeness of a man. Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings. Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the soles of calves’ feet. They sparkled like the color of burnished bronze. The hands of a man were under their wings on their four sides; and each of the four had faces and wings. Their wings touched one another. the creatures did not turn when they went, but each one went straight forward.
As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man; each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ok on the left side, and each of the four had a face of an eagle. Thus were their faces. Their wings stretched upward; two wings of each one touched on another, and two covered their bodies. And each one went straight forward; they went wherever the spirit wanted them to go, and they did not turn when they went.
As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches going back and forth among the living creatures. The fire was bright, and out of the fire went lightning. And the living creatures ran back and forth, in an appearance like a flash of lightning.
Now I looked at the living creatures, behold, a wheel was on the earth beside each living creature with it’s four faces. The appearance of the wheels and their workings was like the color of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. The appearance of their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel. When they moved, the went toward any one of four directions; they did not turn aside when they went. As for their rims, they were so high they were awesome; and their rims were full of eyes , all around the four of them. When the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. Wherever the spirit wanted them to go, they went, because there the spirit went; and the wheels were lifted together with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. When those went, these went; When those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up together with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
The likeness of the firmament above the heads of the living creatures was like the color of an awesome crystal, stretched out over their heads. And under the firmament their wings spread out straight, one toward another. Each one had two which covered one side, and each had two which covered the other side of the body. When they went I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a tumult like the noise of an army; and when they stood still, they let down their wings. A voice came from above the firmament that was over their heads; whenever they stood, they let down their wings.
And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in a appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was the likeness of a man high above it. Also from the appearance of His waist upward was I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around; and from the appearance of His waist downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around. Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of likeness of the glory of the Lord.
So when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One Speaking.
-Beloved, our God, Jehovah Sabaoth, the Lord of Hosts is a great and magnificent God. He commands the entirety of creation to do His will. Let us not forget the image of what Ezekiel saw when the heavens opened at the river Chebar. Let us understand the fear of what God is and can do. The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord will be a frightful one, where our God who rides on whirlwinds of fire and lightning, will pour out His judgement on a unrepetitive earth. Please turn from your evil ways and accept Jesus, Jehovah’s son into your hearts to save your souls into eternity.
Mark 13:5-37
And Jesus, answering them, began to say, “Take heed that no one deceive you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many. But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake., for a testimony to them. And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations. But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parent’s and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. So when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not then let those who are in Judah flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray your flight may not be in winter. For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be. And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, He is there!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show sign and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand. But in those days, after the tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give it’s light; the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the furthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven. Now learn this parable from the fig tree; When it’s branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see these things happening, know that it is near- at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when that time is. It is like a man going into a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming- in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning- lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all; Watch!”
-Beloved! WATCH and PRAY! There is a day coming, soon, that will be more terrible than anything that this earth has seen. Being a “good person” will not save you. There are not multiple roads to God. There is one narrow way to an eternal hope and it is the thin beams of the cross that lay across the chasm of sin. Jesus was the sacrifice for our sins and when He defeated death, by raising on the third day, and ascended into heaven, He poured out His blood on the Mercy seat and said, “It is Finished!” Do not be like those who did not heed the warnings of judgement from Noah but know the times and the seasons. Look at what is happening all over the world and read the road map Christ Jesus left for us. The time is soon for The Most High’s elect, those who choose Jesus, to be raptured… and then Judgement! Repent for the time is short and The Great and Terrible day of the Lord is at hand!
Malachi 4
“For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says the Lord of Hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch. But to those who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day I do this,” says the Lord of Hosts. “Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgements. Behold, I will send Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”
Beloved, there is coming a day when the works of the flesh will be burned up by fire and the works done for the Lord with shine forth in glory. Do not store up treasures on the earth for they will burn but store up treasures in heaven where they will bring glory unto the Eternal King who saved us from an eternity of separation.
Revelation 3:14-21
“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’- and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked- I counsel to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore, be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”
Those who walk the narrow road, a warning given. In the last days leading to the great and terrible day of the Lord, we will see right as wrong and wrong become right. There will be an abundance of tolerance, which is not love as some spew today. The Faithful and True Witness is not a tolerant God. He in fact is a all-loving God who intends for us to have an intentional relationship with Him, separating ourselves from the world and its sinful ways to follow His holy path. He knows our ways, our hearts, our thoughts and if we believe for a second that when we can mingle Christ with the things of this world, we have dove headlong into deceiving doctrines of devils. When we say, “I can do this thing that Christ has expressly warned against and even forbidden, yet I will just keep my heart fixed on the Lord,” we have become lukewarm. Lukewarm water is a mixture of both that which is hot and that which is cold. It is taking the things of God and mingling it with sin. This is a very scary line to walk as the Lord said that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will forever be condemned and when we attribute things of God to things of Satan, we are tiptoeing that very blasphemy. Those who are allowing for tolerance and exception to the rule and Word of God, I pray you would hear the knocking of Jesus, that you would not shy from the refiners fire, the rebuke that will set you on the narrow road. It is a hard thing to have our flesh cut away. It is a hard thing to take up our cross daily, it is a hard thing to deny our flesh, it is a hard thing to warn those who are living in sin, but I ask you this, what is more loving, a man who rebukes his friend from running off a cliff, or a man who tolerates his friend running to certain death, only to not hurt his feelings? Be of good courage and cheer, for there is an eternal hope for those brave enough to walk with Jesus Christ and on His narrow road.
